Introducing The Dad Bod Diet Pill!
Preferences for body shape have been fluid throughout the history of human bodies. For example, back in the renaissance a curvy body was a sign of affluence and health. Similarly, in recent times the idea of “dad bod,” an athletic but doughy physique has come into vogue. The problem is, there’s no easy way to attain this popular look. I mean, I don’t have any problem finding my dad bod, but for all of you who don’t know how to achieve your own d-bods, this video is for you!
Now you know how to get that d-bod (I’m not going to stop calling it that, that’s what it’s called now.. got it?) that you’ve always wanted! Also, I really want a burrito. Mmmmm Burrito….
Who do you have to thank for this? The writing/directing team of Mason Hankins and Joanna Sloame are behind this bizarro comedy gem. You can find Hankins over at The UCB Theater in Los Angeles, where he’s a video intern, and Sloame at The Second City Hollywood as a performer with improv troupe, The Good, The Bad & The Snuggly.
Recent videos on Sloame’s YouTube channel include irreverent takes on important millennial topics like binge watching, while Hankins’ channel focuses on low budget animation, including a look at what Nickelodeon’s 90s mascot, Face, is up to lately.
