The guys start with news of a major development in Staten Island food services. This leads to a discussion of price gouging at bagel deli. They then chime in on Bodega Boxes and how an idea of that magnitude even gets off the ground. This week was sports movie talk, baseball specifically. Social media had lots of opinions which were fine and so did Chris which was not fine. ****Spoiler Alert**** They finish up with a debate on spoilers and how much is too much? Chris closes the pod with an unbelievable story from the set of Cloverfield.
Chris and Joe Recap their breakfast together. Then they analyze a list of the best type of French fries and read your FB comments. In case you don’t follow Major League baseball, the New York Mets have a pitcher named Matt Harvey. He’s been something of a sensation this year. The Mets are 7-2 in games he starts and 9-21 in all other games. That’s not a misprint. Lots of teams have excellent young pitchers, so to truly understand why Matt Harvey is a borderline Messiah, you must first understand the psyche of your average Met fan…
In case you haven’t noticed, I’m a pretty big Mets fan, and make sure that’s known on DAPS. You should also note that over the past five years, it’s been pretty crappy out there for a Met fan. That’s why the fine people at scraps have created an be-all-end-all solution.
